The Birth Of CURSE
I started writing music in college, mostly about heartbreak, and yearning for the type of love you see in movies. Horror movies that is! Taking the stage name CURSE, I create all of my music under a persona. A persona that embraces the weird, macabre, and erotic aspects of human nature.
The Albums So Far…
My first album, entitled Fresh Blood was a tribute to why I got into this business in the first place. A mashup of different genres and horror concepts, each song is meant to represent a different macabre tale or idea, as if these are stories being shared around a campfire.
My second album, Innocence Lost, is also a tribute to what makes me who I am as an artist, but this time taking inspiration from 80’s hits and pop stars. It was a little more “real” than my last album, with more of a focus on relatability story wise, and more complex pop vocal layering.

The first time I introduced CURSE to the world I took a big swing. I had been wanting to perform my original music live for a long time. I released my first album in October 2022, and the follow up in March 2023, with plans to make a third, but it just didn’t feel real. After seeing a few concerts and getting inspired, I decided that if an opportunity wasn’t going to fall into my lap, I had to just make one for myself. So, I scoured LA for a venue, got in contact with The Three Clubs, and put a whole show together by myself. Next, I got in contact with some friends I went to college with and asked them to open for me! Sarah, MARS, and RYKER brought their A-game, and RYKER actually designed that beautiful poster you see up there. The epic eyeball logo was designed by my friend Liv, and animated by Neks on Fivver. Since then I’ve been able to bring CURSE back to life twice, at Daddy’s Day and Townhaus Eight in June 2024, and he’ll no doubt be returning to the stage soon.
